I am the owner of Perform Pilates and started practising Pilates almost 16 years ago. I fell in love with it and here we are today! I am a Body Control Pilates supervising teacher helping with the training of new teachers, specialise in pre and postnatal Pilates and am trained to teach on all Pilates equipment. My passion is the classical repertoire for the discipline and strength it develops in my own and my clients bodies and I also love teaching pregnant and postnatal clients. I continue to train and have trained with Lisa Bradshaw, Holly Murray, Benjamin Degenhardt, Lolita San Miguel (1st generation Pilates teacher), Michael Fritzke and Ton Voogt. I have also now launched online Pilates classes at www.sharepilates.com

I was introduced to Pilates by a friend who recommended I tried a class after I had been complaining about lower back pain and I have not looked back! Having tried every high impact class you can think of, I loved the results gained from Pilates so much so I decided to train with Body Control to become a teacher in 2013. I am currently working towards my Level 4 Pilates qualification and have also attended courses in Pre and Postnatal pregnancy and the Intermediate mat repertoire. I love teaching my clients functional movement and seeing them progress from week to week.

I also hold qualifications in Beauty therapy, Massage, Natural Juice Therapy and am working towards my final sign-off in Barre. My main focus is to provide services and tools to help enhance wellbeing

PRUE is Body Control Pilates® certified and is also a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs Level 3).

Exercise has always been a really important part of Prue’s life and it was following a number of knee operations that Prue discovered Pilates to help with her rehabilitation. Following the rehab she continued with her Pilates practice, enjoying the many of the other benefits like; increased core strength, greater mobility and the mental challenge through greater focus. Given this, it’s not surprising that Pilates has become an integral part of her exercise regime and a great way to complement her cardio training.
